Set in the woods adjacent to the Lake and a large swath of TVA property, this secluded house is the beginning of a large development of a family compound. Currently under construction the main house is a thin volume that takes advantage of views, cross ventilation, natural light and the need for a simple layout of spaces. Together with the garage/recreation building the two volumes make a large informal entry courtyard that conveys the clients’ love of their natural surroundings.
